Job Summary

The Business Officer at YYC taxPOD (TBO) will play a key role in promoting and expanding the company’s tax e-learning platform among business clients. The primary responsibilities include client acquisition through cold calling, networking, and digital marketing, along with market research to identify client needs. The TBO will also be responsible for cross-selling and upselling additional tax-related services, such as tax planning and audit support. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive training and support to drive their success in client engagement and sales.

Job Responsibilities

Client Acquisition:

  • The TBO role presents an exciting opportunity to drive the adoption and utilization of taxPOD’s innovative Tax Education Platform among business users.
  • Identify and pursue potential clients (individuals, small businesses, corporations) through cold calling, networking, digital marketing, and other outreach methods.
  • Conduct market research to identify business needs and target clients.-
  • Generate leads and develop a pipeline of potential customers.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to sell additional tax-related services to existing clients (e.g., tax planning, business tax services, or audit support).
  • Upsell premium services based on client needs.
  • You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to enhance your client engagement and sales skills, ensuring your success in the role.

Job Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen or hold relevant residence status.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree holder with at least one (1) year working experience.
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Disciplined, possess a positive attitude, ability to multitask, with an outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills are needed, as are the ability to handle multiple tasks and think analytically.
  • Strong attention to detail is also needed to ensure that clients obtain their desired results.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Bahasa and Mandarin.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Seeking for the talents who will be based at Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Melaka.
